Everything was amazing! We had hummus, baba ganoush, grape leaves, lentil soup, chicken kebab plate, and even the pita bread was delicious. The staff were super welcoming too when we arrived before close. Thank you, recommend!
Came here for lunch and really enjoyed it! We ordered the charcoal grilled lamb with rice and ayran — everything was full of flavor. The lamb was super tender and juicy, and the portion size was generous. They also brought us a complimentary lentil soup to start, which was absolutely delicious. We finished our meal with a little dessert pastry that hit the spot! The interior is cozy and decorated in a warm, Middle Eastern style — it definitely adds to the experience. Great service, great food — we’ll be back for sure!
Lovely Turkish restaurant with large shareable portion options. The side dishes are great but wish it came with more pita. The grilled meats are my favorite.
I had the lamb saç kavurma, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The staff took great care of me — they were so attentive and kind. Especially the waiter, who was very helpful and made the experience even better. The stuffed grape leaves (sarma) were also amazing — honestly, the best I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely come back!
Stopped in for the Turkish breakfast and it was incredible! Felt like I was back in Istanbul! It is only $22.95 for all of these items plus lentil soup, coffee and tea! Such a great deal! I will definitely be back and highly recommend!
If you're craving traditional Mediterranean flavors, Turkish Kitchen in Wisconsin is a must-visit! The food was absolutely delicious – from the rich and creamy babaganoush to the perfectly seasoned hummus, every bite delivered authentic taste and quality. The lentil soup was a standout, warm and full of flavor, perfect for a cozy meal. The ambiance and hospitality added to the experience, making it feel like a true cultural escape. The only disappointment was the pita bread, which arrived dry and overcooked – more like a cracker than the soft, warm pita I was expecting. It didn’t quite match the rest of the meal and left me a bit let down.
Delicious Turkish Mediterranean food. Street parking is available depending on the time of day. Evenings can be harder to find parking than day time. The staff are very nice and helpful. The Turkish Mix for 2 is a great combination at $79 and can feed up to 4 if appetites are modest. The dessert coming with the mix is quite good - Sutlu Irmik - and unusual for Midwestern cuisine. This is a good restaurant for comfort food, family and friend gatherings. There are quiet corners for good conversation as well. Service is fairly fast. Try to Turkish tea - we liked it. Also there’s Turkish coffee prepared with grounds in the cooking.
